CGAC Device Policy

Active use of phones and recording devices are not permitted in the following areas:

• Pool deck
• Hot tubs
• Sauna & Steam rooms
• Pools
• Change rooms

Phones may be used only in the bleacher seating area, mezzanine and lower pedway to party rooms and bleachers.

Exceptions:

• Pre-approved groups may receive authorization for use in restricted areas.

Active Device Usage:

Active device usage includes but is not limited to any activity that requires extended usage, such as watching a video, scrolling or composing extended messages. These activities require the user to be holding the phone for the duration of the activity.

Passive device usage includes quick activities such as setting a timer, recording a workout, changing a song during headphone usage, and other activities that are completed briefly, then the phone is set aside.

Prohibited Device Usage:

Taking photos and videos, and publicly playing audio is prohibited in all areas, including areas permitting active device usage. Phone usage is entirely prohibited in Tot Pool area.

A reminder that electronic device use is not recommended in warm and wet environments, and the CGAC accepts no liability for damages that may occur from usage in the facility.
