Green Level Changes

When we open on Saturday, July 31, we will lift most COVID-19 related restrictions that have been in place at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre for over a year.

What is not changing

  • Patrons and staff must still self-screen using the Government of New Brunswick’s questionnaire prior to entry and if the answer to any of the question is “yes”, you must not enter our facility
  • Parents will still need to accompany their child in swimming lessons (Parent & Tot, Preschool, Swimmer 1, and Swimmer 2)
  • Plexiglass barriers will remain in place
  • Our maintenance staff will continue their enhanced cleaning of commonly touched surfaces
  • Although not required, patrons and staff are welcome to continue to wear masks, if they wish
  • Patrons and staff must act in a respectful manner

What is changing

  • Physical distancing is no longer required
  • Masks will not be required, but individuals are welcome to continue to use a face mask
  • Steam room and Sauna will be open
  • With the exception of spin classes, tickets are no longer required for fitness classes and class sizes will be expanded to their pre-pandemic levels
  • Tires, sleds, battle ropes and TRX will be available in the Functional Training Studio. Punching bags will be back on Wednesday

We have done a great job in containing COVID-19 in New Brunswick. It is still out there in jurisdictions all around us. Please remain vigilant and be safe.
